Paul 'Pose'

1956 T1 Oval

NZ import in 1999, original RHD car.

Lowered and dropped spindles with CB Performance Wide 5 disc brakes.

1835 T1 engine, built in 2000 and still exceptionally reliable and
powerful.

1956 T1 Oval Features:

  • 120 Engle cam
  • lightened and balanced crank/flywheel.
  • Drilled and tapped for full flow oil.
  • Magna flow muffler and some sort of heating!
  • 1961 brick-red/cream interior with Autoguage rev counter and CD stereo system.
Goes like a dream, totally solid, but a ratty ride! The car is of the road this year, but future plans are for new front wings, good clean up and a respray in original Green. Maybe even a turbo on the engine - would be rude not to.

1953 T2 Barndoor Micorbus

East German import when the Berlin Wall came down , was found in a Barn. The bus has had extensive welding in the 70s by a Gas welder with no skill, hence the panels are warped from heat!

2700cc 911 engine running triple carbs and MSD. Quarter mile fully laden 16.2 (will be faster with a non-standard longthrow gear lever!).

Original bench seat and home made camping interior featuring a full width bed, cooler, TV/radio and cooker. Straight axle conversion at the back, with later 70's gearbox and Hi-Torque starter. Front end is lowered on adjusters, soon to be dropped spindles & also has wide 5 CSP disc brakes and later master cylinder.

Bus is currently in the process of an overhaul with a planned release date of around June this year. modified wheel arches are helping bring the front end down a little, while the dropped spindles will keep the ride smooth.

Other car stored in various lockups , awaiting some time in the next few years are:

1969 project suicide customer bug, from the 1990s - once a rival to the famous Homer.
