I got into Vdubs in about 1989. I rebuilt a 1302 beetle. I replaced the heater channels, which was a nightmare for a first project. I then sold that and bought Baja, which after replacing the floor pans, totally re-spraying and using for 6 months I sold to buy my 1966 split van in 1996.

I had the split van for a couple of months and then had an engine fire. I did a quick rebuild on it to get on the road and had it running for 4 years.

I then got it back into the garage Nov 2000 for a total rebuild, which is getting close to being completed.

Due to be taken to the garage to be re-sprayed within the next month. Hopefully it will be ready for Run to the Sun. Watch this space for an update!!!
