I started
with vdubs in about '96 with my first car.. this was a 1972 standard
beetle painted cherry red... soon after passing my test i changed
the wheels and lowered the car by 6ins all round.. after i found
out how light bugs get at the front when aquaplaining it got resprayed
jet black and looked sweet for a car with no real direction.....
now comes my biggest down fall, trying to restore while driving
it daily DONT DO IT.... so inevitably restoring got left and just
drove it into the ground.. that was until 3 years ago when i spotted
a split bug shell for sale at bugjam and decided to restore the
72 chassis and 51 shell and the culmination is what you see here
(so far)... future plans powder coat the wheels black, and maybe
a subaru conversion (300brake not bad).. i would only sell this
monster on family comitments and if i need to sell it to get a T25
westy syncro 16 (if and
only if)
